Fate devlog 0.6:

This devlog will be going over everything that has been added since version 0.5, this includes:

Objective functionality

Enemy spawning

Wave mechanics


Objective functionality:

Since the last version I have added functionality to the objective and also an objective tracking system, the tracking system is as follows:

Whenever the player gets a new objective it will look like this:


You can see this all working together like this when the player interacts with the objective and causes a wave of enemies to spawn:



Enemy spawning:

Enemy spawning is now in the game, when the player interacts with the objective they will spawn a certain amount of enemies in different sections of the map, you can see this below for one section of the map:



Wave mechanics:

When the player interacts with the objective they will start three waves of enemies the next wave will spawn after all the enemies from previous waves are killed.

Going forward:

For the next version of fate, I'm intending to get around to adding the different enemy types as well as the next section with the next objective and potentially boss enemy within it.
